As a highly skilled and customer-focused Presales Specialist for Tekla Products, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical capabilities and customer needs. Working closely with the sales team, clients, and internal stakeholders, your primary responsibilities will include: - Conducting in-depth product demonstrations of Tekla Structures, Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Powerfab Trimble connect, and related solutions. - Articulating the technical and business benefits of Tekla solutions to various stakeholders, such as engineers, project managers, and executives. - Customizing presentations and demos to address specific client requirements. - Collaborating with customers to understand their workflows, pain points, and objectives. - Recommending appropriate Tekla solutions and workflows tailored to their needs. - Acting as a trusted advisor to clients during the decision-making process. - Working alongside sales teams to create compelling proposals and proof-of-concept solutions. - Contributing to marketing efforts by presenting at webinars, events, and conferences. - Providing feedback from the field to influence product development and marketing strategies. - Staying updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies. - Identifying opportunities to differentiate Tekla solutions in the market. Qualifications and Skills required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - 3 to 7 years of experience in structural engineering, detailing, or a similar role. - Prior experience in a presales or technical consulting role is advantageous. - Proficiency in Tekla Structures, Tekla Structural Designer, or similar BIM/structural analysis software. - Understanding of structural design, detailing, and construction workflows. - Familiarity with related tools like Revit, Etabs, STAAD, and BIM platforms is a plus. - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - Willingness to travel to customer locations for meetings, workshops, and demonstrations. - Passion for technology and innovation in the construction and engineering industries. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will measure your success in this role include: - Number of successful product demonstrations and customer engagements. - Conversion rate from leads to customers based on presales efforts. - Customer satisfaction and feedback on technical expertise. - Contributions to pilot projects and solution implementations.
