Pre-sales Network System Engineer

Job Title: Senior Presales Network Consultant Experience Level: 8+ Years Department: Presales / Network Solutions Job Type: Full-time Reports To: Presales Manager / Solution Architect Lead Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Presales Network Consultant to support our enterprise and public sector clients. This role involves end-to-end engagement in presales activities including solution design, technical proposal creation, and customer presentations. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to independently manage technical evaluations, customer engagements, and proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations. Key Responsibilities Lead network presales activities: including solution design, technical documentation, bill of materials (BOM) preparation, and pricing support. Perform site surveys and client assessments to understand requirements and define solution architecture. Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-concept (POC) independently to customers and partners. Work closely with sales and delivery teams to ensure feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions. Create and contribute to technical whitepapers, support marketing events, and deliver webinars. Engage in pre-RFP discussions, shape customer requirements, and lead RFP/RFQ response and bid management processes. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). 8+ years of progressive experience in network presales roles. Strong knowledge in enterprise networking technologies (e.g., switching, routing, wireless, firewalls). Hands-on experience in delivering customer demos and POCs. Demonstrated experience supporting public sector clients and managing tender processes. Exposure to public cloud networking and hybrid IT architectures is a plus. Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation skills. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCDP, JNCIS, NSE, etc.) are highly desirable. Nice to Have Experience in writing or contributing to technical blogs or whitepapers. Knowledge of network automation tools or scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).
