Pre Sales Engineer

Role Overview: As a Pre-Sales Engineer specializing in ELV and MEP (Extra Low Voltage and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), your primary responsibility is to provide technical sales support. This includes reviewing project specifications, designing and estimating systems, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct technical analysis by reviewing project drawings (MEP, ELV), specifications, and standards to understand project scope and requirements. - Design and estimate ELV systems (e.g., access control, CCTV, fire alarms) and MEP systems, including preparing bills of materials, quantities, and cost estimates. - Prepare technical and commercial proposals, compliance sheets, technical/commercial comparison reports, and submittals. - Collaborate with the sales team to offer technical expertise, create presentations, and participate in pre-bid and technical meetings. - Coordinate with principals, suppliers, subcontractors, and other engineers to ensure technical and commercial aspects align. - Assist in preparing responses to technical clarifications post-bid submission. - Facilitate the transfer of project details and documentation to the project and planning teams. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is a standard requirement. - A diploma in a relevant field may also be accepted with sufficient experience.
