Pre Sales Business Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pre-Sales Business Analyst with over 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the sales team and technical/product teams by gathering requirements, creating solution proposals, and delivering compelling product presentations to clients. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs, pain points, and business goals. Translate client requirements into functional and technical solutions with the help of product and technical teams. Prepare and deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs. Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), proposals, and RFP/RFI responses. Conduct market and competitor research to support solution development and positioning. Support client discovery sessions, workshops, and pre-sales meetings. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) for customized solutions. Work closely with post-sales teams to ensure smooth transition and client satisfaction. Analyze trends from client interactions to provide feedback for product improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales, business analysis, or customer-facing technical role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical solutioning. Proficiency in tools like MS Office, PowerPoint, Visio, and CRM platforms. Experience with preparing documentation like SOWs, BRDs, and solution briefs. Preferred Skills: Exposure to SaaS or IT service/consulting environments. Knowledge of Agile methodologies. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and wireframing tools.
