Job Description

As the Regional Head - VP Sales for the West region, you will play a crucial role in leading, strategizing, and delivering the sales vision. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing sales strategies to surpass regional business objectives and revenue goals. - Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of sales managers, account executives, and supporting staff to foster a culture of high performance and accountability. - Building and nurturing client relationships at the C-suite and senior executive levels, acting as a trusted advisor and business partner. - Collaborating with marketing, product, and channel teams to drive integrated go-to-market initiatives. - Analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to validate strategies and seek new opportunities. - Owning forecasting, pipeline management, budgeting, and accurate reporting for the region. - Negotiating large deals and closing complex opportunities while maximizing profitability and maintaining compliance. - Recruiting, developing, and retaining top sales talent; ensuring onboarding and ongoing training to elevate team capability. - Monitoring sales performance metrics, understanding drivers and blockers, and taking corrective actions to exceed targets. - Communicating regional insights and progress to national leadership; contributing to national strategy and cross-region best practices. Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced business qualification preferred. - Minimum 15-20 years of experience in sales leadership roles within B2B technology, SaaS, or services sectors. - Proven record of building and leading successful sales teams, strategic planning, P&L responsibility, and stakeholder management. - Advanced skills in team leadership, coaching, sales pipeline development, negotiation, and complex deal closing. - Data-driven approach to sales management with proficiency in CRM, analytics, and sales enablement tools. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - High energy, integrity, and motivation to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. - Preferably having an entrepreneurial mindset for driving business. Key Performance Indicators include: - Achievement of Quarterly/Annual Revenue Targets. - New Customer Acquisition and Retention Rates. - Team Hiring, Engagement, and Retention. - Pipeline Growth and Forecast Accuracy. - Customer Satisfaction and Executive Relationships.
