Power System Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Power System Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, optimization, and reliable operation of complex electrical power systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise, proficiency with industry-standard analysis software, and a commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• System Analysis and Modeling: Conduct detailed power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, transient stability, motor starting, protective relay coordination, arc flash, and harmonics analysis, using specialized software (e.g., PSS®E, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or similar).
• Design and Engineering: Design and specify electrical equipment and components for power systems (medium and high voltage), including transformers, switchgear, protective relays, cables, and control systems.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs and modifications comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NERC, NEC).
• Grid Integration: Assess and manage the technical challenges associated with integrating new power sources, including renewable energy (solar/wind) and battery energy storage systems (BESS), into the existing grid infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert technical support for commissioning, operation, and troubleshooting of power system issues, outages, and equipment failures.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, engineering reports, study findings, and recommendations for both internal teams and external stakeholders/clients.
• Project Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with project managers, field engineers, construction teams, and clients to ensure successful project execution from concept to completion.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
