Role Overview(LOCATION-BANGLORE)
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Microsoft Power Platform & Power BI Trainer to deliver high-quality training to MBA students. The trainer will teach foundational concepts covered in Microsoft PL-900: Power Platform Fundamentals, with a strong focus on Power BI for business analytics. The role requires the ability to simplify technical content and connect it to real-world business scenarios.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery
- Deliver instructor-led sessions on Power Platform components: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Dataverse.
- Teach the full scope of Power BI including data modeling, visualization, reports, and dashboards.
- Conduct practical labs, demonstrations, and hands-on activities tailored to MBA students.
- Integrate business use cases across domains such as Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations, and Entrepreneurship.
- Prepare students for the PL-900 certification exam.
Curriculum & Content Development
- Develop and update course materials, presentations, assignments, and projects.
- Create real-world datasets and case studies for practical exercises.
- Design capstone projects that demonstrate business application of Power Platform tools.
Assessment & Support
- Conduct quizzes, assessments, and mock tests for PL-900 certification.
- Provide one-on-one guidance and support for students.
- Monitor student progress and provide continuous feedback.
Coordination & Administration
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to align curriculum with MBA program goals.
- Maintain training reports, attendance, and performance records.
- Support the institute during academic audits and accreditation processes (if applicable).
Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling, dashboarding).
- Solid understanding of Power Platform tools: Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages.
- Knowledge of end-to-end business workflow automation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint integration.
Teaching & Soft Skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical and business students.
- Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to design engaging and interactive classroom experiences.
- Experience in mentoring students on business analytics or digital transformation topics.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical certification (preferred).
- Microsoft PL-900 certification mandatory; PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) is a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience as a trainer, corporate educator, or practitioner in Power Platform/Power BI.
- Experience teaching or training MBA/management students is an advantage.
