Job Description

Primary Title: Power BI Developer

About The Opportunity

A technology and business-intelligence services provider focused on delivering enterprise reporting, self-service analytics, and data-driven decision support across retail, financial services, and manufacturing sectors. We design and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards, managed reporting solutions, and ETL pipelines for customers across India. This is an on-site Power BI Developer role based in India, ideal for a hands-on BI engineer who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments.Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service for stakeholder consumption.
Create reusable semantic models, implement optimized data models, and author DAX measures to support high-performance analytics.
Build and maintain ETL processes using SSIS or Azure Data Factory to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple source systems.
Write and optimize T-SQL queries and procedures to support reporting requirements and ensure efficient data retrieval.
Collaborate with business analysts and data engineers to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions and ensure data quality and governance.
Implement deployment pipelines, dataset refresh schedules, row-level security, and monitor report performance and usage.

Qualifications & Experience

Strong track record of optimizing datasets and reports for performance and scale; experience with on-site client engagement.
Ability to work on-site in India and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
