Power BI Developer

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Power BI Developer to join our Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards, insightful reports, and visually compelling analytical solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, translate them into scalable data models, and ensure efficient data delivery through optimized Power BI solutions.
This role requires hands-on experience in data modeling, DAX calculations, report design best practices, and strong problem-solving capabilities. You will manage the end-to-end development lifecycle—from data extraction and transformation to visualization and publication—while maintaining high standards of accuracy, performance, and usability. Key Responsibilities: Create dynamic dashboards, paginated reports, and KPIs using Power BI. Connect and integrate Power BI with various data sources, including SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and Dynamics 365. Develop robust data models and implement advanced DAX measures for complex business logic. Build DSR reports, invoices, performance metrics, and other analytical reports as required. Optimize report performance and ensure data quality, security, and refresh accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights. Maintain versioning, document data flows, and support deployment and troubleshooting activities. Contribute to the improvement of BI standards, governance, and best practices. Required Skills (Primary): Expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service Data Modeling, DAX, KPIs & dashboards Experience integrating Power BI with Dynamics 365 Secondary Skills: Strong SQL knowledge and data extraction skills Understanding of BI concepts & OData Knowledge of Azure SQL, BYOD, and Basic ETL processes
