We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with 5+ years of experience to support our existing analytics ecosystem and contribute to new development initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with the SAP team, integrate data from multiple sources, build efficient data models, and deliver high-quality dashboards and reports. This role requires strong technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance the existing Power BI analytics and reporting pipeline.
• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements.
• Create and manage tables, datasets, dataflows, and semantic data models.
• Integrate data from CDS Views and collaborate closely with SAP functional/technical teams.
• Perform ETL activities to ensure accurate, clean, and optimized data flow.
• Optimize data models, DAX formulas, and queries for performance improvements.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across reports and dashboards.
• Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting for Power BI-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Deep expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and Data Modeling.
• Experience integrating data from SAP systems; exposure to CDS Views is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data transformation techniques.
• Ability to build reusable datasets, dataflows, and semantic models.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, or SAP OData services.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
