Job Description

Power BI Developer

contract to hire position

What you’ll be doing:

Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports
Working with stakeholders to define reporting needs and turn data into meaningful insights
Creating and optimizing data sets to support business intelligence requirements
Supporting and improving enterprise-wide reporting processes
Collaborating with data, product, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and usability
Documenting solutions, maintaining standards, and supporting users where needed

Experience required:

5+ years’ experience in BI / data analysis roles
4+ years’ hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI
Background in the manufacturing industry preferred
Strong skills in SQL, DAX, Power Query, SSMS, and MS SQL Server
Experience with large data sets and performance optimization
Solid understanding of data modelling and visualization best practices
Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is a plus
Power BI certifications (e.g. Data Analyst Professional, Power Platform Fundamentals) are a bonus
