Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to support our financial reporting and analytics initiative by designing and developing intuitive dashboards and reports on top of an Azure-based data platform. This role requires hands-on experience in building financial reports and working with datasets involving SAP data.

You will collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, and finance stakeholders to build a reporting layer that enables loss run, variance analysis, trend, and consolidated financial views.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards for financial and operational reporting.
Build Power BI datasets and semantic models aligned with business requirements and finance use cases.
Work with data from SAP to visualize P&L, balance sheet, and other consolidated views.
Collaborate with Data Engineering team to ensure data models are optimized and reporting-friendly.
Implement row-level security, drill-throughs, and dynamic filtering logic based on user roles.
Conduct data validation with finance users and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Maintain versioning, documentation, and performance tuning of dashboards.

Required Skills:

4+ years of experience building Power BI reports and dashboards.
Strong understanding of DAX, data modeling (star/snowflake), and measure optimization.
Proven experience in developing financial dashboards (P&L, Balance Sheet, Variance Reports).
Ability to work with large datasets from Azure Data Lake or Power BI datasets.
Understanding of data refresh scheduling, gateway configuration, and Power BI Service.
