We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Delivery Management In this role, you will: Manage the milestones, dependencies and critical path for the Ellipse Programme Support senior leadership in holding the delivery teams to account for their progress. Liaise with value streams and workstreams, who own their planning data (milestones, dependencies), to ensure they are well maintained and can be used to describe and track the progress of the project as well as flag areas with delivery issues that warrant attention. Generate insights on delivery including picking up themes that are driving negative or positive trends or digging into RAID items to get to the crux of the issue – ensuring management data is clear and actionable. Form a senior part of the Delivery team and work collaboratively with the Programme Office to ensure RAID logs and milestones and aligned and telling a joined-up story Own management reporting including real-time dashboards and formal PPT slides that work at multiple levels to allow delivery focused discussions with delivery teams as senior stakeholders with higher level exception-based views. Leverage project management disciplines, drawing on agile and waterfall methodologies to control and manage progress across a large delivery programme. An initial methodology has already been implemented, work with the team to improve and evolve as the programme dynamics evolve. Engage professionally with the value streams on delivery attending regular connects and ensure key insights are captured centrally as well as formally tracked in planning data. The engagement will need to understand the requests from the value stream point of view and listen and respond to their concerns. Be able and willing to flex the role into more junior and senior activities as circumstances demand ensuring strong cohesions across the small central delivery team Be able to process planning data and analyse complex networks of relationships across tasks to generate high quality reports and insights. Ensure delivery governance, across the wider programme, has a steady rhythm, getting PMs into good habits. Ensure that all delivery related milestones and RAID are understood, and appropriate actions are in place. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: 12 years of project management experience on technology projects in financial services Governance at scale with programme or portfolios spanning multiple projects Project management tools – ideally HSBC Clarity and JIRA (incl.
