Portfolio Manager – Onemind Services

Supporting an Enterprise Customer Account

We’re looking to hire a Portfolio Manager to join Onemind Services and support an enterprise customer account. This role is not a traditional project manager or scrum facilitator position. It requires someone with the ability to oversee and drive multiple projects across teams while maintaining a strategic view of broader business objectives. The focus is on outcomes, accountability, and reducing the operational burden on the executive sponsor by serving as an extension of their leadership across the team.



Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the central point of accountability for a portfolio of technical projects across multiple teams
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable delivery roadmaps and ensure consistent progress toward those goals
  • Drive program and project execution independently, escalating only where necessary
  • Track progress across the entire portfolio, with clear visibility into risk, resource constraints, interdependencies, and deliverable health
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies across multiple teams, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Support the Product Owner and technical leads in backlog grooming, sprint definition, and prioritization
  • Ensure blockers are resolved quickly, with minimal intervention from leadership
  • Deliver concise, outcome-driven updates to senior leadership, focusing on what’s at risk, what’s resolved, and what’s ahead
  • Maintain a project health dashboard that clearly communicates burn rate, velocity, risk areas, and progress toward key deliverables
  • Own and present the portfolio deck for quarterly planning and reviews
  • Coach teams toward delivery excellence and Agile maturity
  • Bring a business lens to technical execution, connecting deliverables to ROI, resource planning, and business impact
  • Serve as a force multiplier for the Director by reducing their operational burden and acting as an extension of their leadership



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing technical programs or portfolios across cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Deep expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and hands-on experience running Agile programs
  • Strong Jira expertise, including reporting, dashboards, portfolio view, and custom workflows
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and drive accountability across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Clear and confident communicator—both written and verbal—with experience managing executive stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in network engineering or infrastructure projects is a strong plus



Preferred

  • PMP or Portfolio Management certifications
  • Experience managing vendor-delivered or outsourced engineering teams
  • Familiarity with network automation, observability, or IoT projects
