Job Profile

Role Overview

A PMS Operations professional ensures smooth execution, compliance and reporting of client investments under PMS. The role is primarily back-office/mid-office, relationship with various teams by handling trade execution, settlements, reconciliations, regulatory compliance, client reporting and MIS to vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with custodians, banks for PMS related queries. Handle KYC, documentation, and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with SEBI (India) or respective regulatory body norms.

3. Investment Operations Execute and monitor buy/sell transactions as per Fund Manager instructions. Coordinate with custodians, brokers, and exchanges for settlement. Maintain accurate transactions and holding records.

4. Reconciliation & Reporting Daily reconciliation of cash, securities, and portfolios with custodian records. Prepare NAV (Net Asset Value) and portfolio valuation reports. Generate periodic performance statements for clients.

5. Compliance & Regulatory Ensure adherence to SEBI/RBI/AML guidelines. Maintain audit-ready documentation. Support in regulatory reporting (monthly/quarterly filings).

6. Client Servicing Support Provide account statements, investment summaries. Address client operational queries related to holdings, reports, payouts, etc.

7. MIS & Internal Reporting Prepare dashboards for management (AUM reports, transaction volumes, etc.) as well as for internal and external stakeholders.

8. Skills Required

Strong understanding of equity, debt, derivatives, and mutual funds. Knowledge of SEBI PMS regulations. Proficiency in MS Excel, Bloomberg/Reuters, and PMS/back-office software. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail (reconciliation, compliance checks). Communication skills for coordination with fund managers, custodians, clients.
