Role Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented PMO Analyst to support programme and portfolio governance across the Technology organisation, with a particular focus on Jira and Confluence.
Your primary focus will be on maintaining high-quality programme data, creating and managing reports and dashboards, and supporting planning, governance, and assurance activities. You will help ensure that Technology change delivery is transparent, well-controlled, and aligned with FNZs strategic priorities.You will work closely with Programme and Project Managers, Product Owners, and Technology leadership to provide accurate, timely information, improve ways of working, and maximise the value of Jira and Confluence as core delivery tools.

Specific Role Responsibilities

PMO Support & Governance
- Support portfolio, programme, and project governance, ensuring that plans, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions are captured and maintained to a high standard.- Assist in the preparation of status reports, steering committee packs, and executive summaries, ensuring consistent, accurate information.- Maintain standard PMO templates and documentation, promoting consistent ways of working across Technology change initiatives. Jira Administration & Reporting- Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, boards, fields, and permissions in alignment with agreed delivery methodologies.- Ensure data quality within Jira, working with delivery teams to maintain accurate backlog, sprint, and release information.- Design and maintain Jira dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility of progress, delivery risks, and performance metrics (e.g. throughput, cycle time, capacity, and utilisation). Confluence Management & Knowledge Management- Structure and maintain Confluence spaces for programmes, projects, and governance forums.- Develop and maintain standard page templates and navigation to make information easy to find and use.- Promote good documentation and knowledge management practices, supporting teams to keep information up to date. Planning, Analysis & Continuous Improvement- Perform data analysis across Jira and other sources to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.- Work with Programme Managers and delivery teams to identify and implement improvements in reporting, tooling, and governance processes.- Contribute to the definition and evolution of Technology delivery standards and best practices.

Experience required

  • Experience in a PMO, project support, or project analyst role within a large enterprise environment.
  • Strong practical experience of configuring and using Jira and Confluence to support change delivery and reporting.
  • Good understanding of project and programme management practices; exposure to Kanban is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in managing and interpreting data from multiple sources.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort working with reports and dashboards.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
