Position Title:

About the Role

The PMO Analyst plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of projects and programs across the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining project governance standards, monitoring project performance, and ensuring accurate reporting and documentation within the PMO framework.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the PMO in establishing, implementing, and maintaining project management methodologies, templates, and standards.
  2. Track and monitor project progress, milestones, budgets, and risks across multiple initiatives.
  3. Prepare and maintain project dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership review.
  4. Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely submission of project updates and adherence to governance processes.
  5. Maintain the project repository including documentation, lessons learned, and post-project reviews.
  6. Analyze project data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  7. Support resource planning, allocation, and project prioritization activities.
  8. Assist in the preparation of PMO performance metrics and executive summaries.
  9. Facilitate PMO meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO function.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  1. Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid), and lifecycle.
  2. Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI (preferred).
  3. Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Clarity, Smartsheet, or Asana).
  4. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  5. High attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  7. Team-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset

Education & Experience:

  1. Bachelors degree in business administration/Post Graduation, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
  2. PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation, or similar certification preferred.
  3. 37 years of experience in a PMO or project coordination/analysis role within a medium to large organization.
