Lead Engineer (DCS) Job description: We are looking for Lead Engineer, DCS to be based in Pune, India. This position reports to Engineering Manager, Projects . In this position you will have opportunity to work as an individual or in a team who possess technical responsibility for the delivery of Valmet DNA Distributed Control Systems (DCS). In this position, you will be required followings: Work Experience You must have experience on DCS systems mainly working in Pulp and Paper process/Power plant operations. Major Responsibilities: Planning Phase : Participates in the planning of the project with the project manager with respect to the goals of the project, overall scheduling, risk analysis/contingency plan, and installation checklists. Basic Engineering : Participates in the Definition phase of the project. Site Management : Management of automation and instrumentation installations/testing according to the goals and operating principles of Valmet Automation. Understands Valmet interest in contractual point of view including all project deliveries. Responsible for site planning together with Project Manager well before site activities are started. Maintains daily follow-up & reporting practice , organizes site meetings with customer/contractors and is responsible for installation , trial runs and final performance acceptance from customer. He/She is also Health & Safety (HSE) responsible person in site phase.
