Lead Engineer (DCS) Job description: We are looking for Lead Engineer, DCS to be based in Pune, India. This position reports to Engineering Manager, Projects . In this position you will have opportunity to work as an individual or in a team who possess technical responsibility for the delivery of Valmet DNA Distributed Control Systems (DCS). In this position, you will be required followings: Work Experience You must have experience on DCS systems mainly working in Pulp and Paper process/Power plant operations. Basic Engineering : Participates in the Definition phase of the project. Implementation Phase : Implementation and supervision of application engineering, ensuring quality of engineering as per definition, logistic order initialization, communication with other engineering teams, pre-FAT inspections, preparing project purchase proposals, factory acceptance test (FAT) plan, attending customer FAT, getting FAT approval from customer, effective implementation for change management and progress reporting, installation & Commissioning of DCS system. Site Management : Management of automation and instrumentation installations/testing according to the goals and operating principles of Valmet Automation. Understands Valmet interest in contractual point of view including all project deliveries. Responsible for site planning together with Project Manager well before site activities are started. Maintains daily follow-up & reporting practice , organizes site meetings with customer/contractors and is responsible for installation , trial runs and final performance acceptance from customer. He/She is also Health & Safety (HSE) responsible person in site phase. Provides feedback of customer s comments for customer satisfaction assessment Participates in transfer to service process To succeed this role, you will need: Engineering Graduate in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical from reputed university with relevant experience of 8 12 years Added skills on Safety Systems/ HIMA will be preferred.
