Job Description

The Plant Controller will play a critical role in supporting the financial and operational performance of manufacturing sites within the International Markets (IM). You will work remotely from the Global Business Center, providing strategic financial leadership to one of the manufacturing plants. It is essential to partner closely with plant management and stakeholders across various markets. Occasional travel is required to support operational needs, especially during closing periods, with the flexibility to adapt to dynamic demands. Your responsibilities will include overseeing monthly closing processes, ad hoc reporting/analytics, monthly forecasts, and annual budgets to drive financial performance. You will utilize advanced reporting and forecasting tools to deliver insights and enhance existing processes. Additionally, you will prepare cost accounting analyses, maintain internal financial controls, ensure compliance with SOX and corporate policies, and lead annual standard costing updates for the site. As a financial business partner to the plant manager and leadership team, you will provide decision support that drives financial metric improvement and profitable growth. Collaboration with Supply Chain teams across International Markets to identify savings opportunities and analyze return on investment is crucial. Supporting capital investment initiatives, fostering financial accountability, and ownership throughout the organization, particularly in building a TPM Loss Reduction culture, are also part of your role. You will lead network-wide improvements by developing standard work and processes to promote efficiency, leveraging digital tools and new reporting for insights and process efficiencies. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, coupled with a history of process improvement and project management, are essential. Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of experience in a mainstream finance role, proficiency in SAP, PowerBI, Hyperion, and Blackline, knowledge of TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies, experience in building financial models, and proficiency in a second language.
