As a Project Planning Manager, your role involves developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and forecasts. You will be responsible for managing the planning team to ensure effective delivery of planning and scheduling services. Analyzing and monitoring project performance using appropriate tools and systems will be crucial, along with ensuring alignment of planning strategies with organizational goals. Coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure resource availability and allocation will be essential. Additionally, preparing and presenting regular reports on progress, risks, and forecasts to senior management, identifying planning risks, proposing mitigation strategies, and supporting the development of planning policies, procedures, and best practices are key responsibilities. You will oversee compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations and evaluate and implement planning software/tools as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and forecasts. - Manage the planning team to ensure effective delivery of planning and scheduling services. - Analyze and monitor project performance using appropriate tools and systems. - Ensure alignment of planning strategies with organizational goals. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure resource availability and allocation. - Prepare and present regular reports on progress, risks, and forecasts to senior management. - Identify planning risks and propose mitigation strategies. - Support the development of planning policies, procedures, and best practices. - Oversee compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations. - Evaluate and implement planning software/tools as needed. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Engineering - Minimum of 10 years of experience in a planning or project management role. - Proven experience in leadership or managerial roles. - Strong proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, ERP systems). - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Preferred Qualifications: B Tech/ M Tech./ Diploma (Civil Engineering) Additional Details: The company prefers candidates with planning software experience, particularly in Primavera P6, MS Project, and ERP systems. Industry-specific experience in high-rise builders for a minimum of 10 years is compulsory. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including leave encashment and provident fund. The work location is in person.
