As a Project Planner at Mace, you will be part of a team that aims to redefine the boundaries of ambition by creating responsible places that bring transformative impact to communities globally. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the planning function on allocated projects and ensure alignment to defined planning processes - Verify projects/tenders to ensure appropriateness of planning, scheduling, and monitoring - Support project management function in delivering projects on time and profitably - Plan medium complexity projects or a portfolio of smaller projects - Advocate Mace's value of safety first by leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance standards - Possess expertise in local health and safety rules and regulations relevant to project portfolio - Manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas in alignment with overall vision and objectives - Support planning function in effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring of projects and tenders - Support senior management in negotiations, contract development, and business development - Commit to making a positive impact for people, clients, and the planet while upholding Mace values - Support project team and create an environment to share knowledge and experience - Actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practices - Develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with clients and project stakeholders - Establish and oversee project work plan and deadlines - Coordinate activities for the team Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering - Experience in planning and scheduling of projects of a similar nature - Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development - Extensive experience in successful planning of projects and programmes in the construction sector - Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise - Strong commercial and financial acumen - Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams - Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders - Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations shape project outlook Mace is an inclusive employer that values diversity and welcomes candidates from a wide range of backgrounds.
