Job Description

Project Planning and Scheduling

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for interior fit-out and design projects.
  • Break down project scope into activities, define timelines, and allocate resources.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to align schedules.
  • Monitor project progress against plan and update schedules regularly.

2. Coordination and Communication

  • Act as a key link between design, purchase, and execution teams to ensure timely flow of information.
  • Communicate project timelines, milestones, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings to track progress and resolve bottlenecks.

3. Resource and Material Planning

  • Forecast material, manpower, and equipment requirements based on project schedules.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials to site.
  • Track inventory and ensure resources are available as per project needs.

4. Progress Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly project progress using project management tools or spreadsheets.
  • Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and delay analyses for management review.
  • Identify deviations from plan and propose corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.

5. Cost and Time Control

  • Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure projects are executed within approved limits.
  • Support project management in identifying cost-saving opportunities and schedule optimizations.
  • Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts and resource utilization plans.

6. Design and Drawing Coordination

  • Ensure design drawings, GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, and revisions are issued and updated on time.
  • Maintain a drawing log and track approvals and revisions from design consultants and clients.
  • Coordinate with site teams for implementation of approved drawings.

7. Quality and Compliance

  • Ensure all work activities follow approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Track inspection schedules and approvals from clients or consultants.
  • Maintain documentation related to quality checks and compliance records.

8. Risk and Delay Management

  • Identify potential risks and constraints affecting project schedules.
  • Maintain a delay register and support project management in mitigation planning.
  • Revise schedules in response to design changes, site conditions, or client requirements.

9. Documentation and Records

  • Maintain updated project schedules, progress reports, and correspondence logs.
  • Archive project data for future reference and performance analysis.
  • Support internal and client audits with proper documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
