Planning Engineer

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera (P6) or MS Project.
• Prepare detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and define project milestones.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and execution teams to plan activities.
• Identify project critical paths and ensure timely completion of key tasks.

2. Progress Monitoring

• Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress of construction activities.
• Analyze delays and deviations from the baseline schedule and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules (weekly / fortnightly) for site execution.
• Coordinate with site teams to collect progress data and update the schedule accordingly.

3. Resource & Cost Planning

• Prepare manpower, machinery, and material deployment schedules.
• Assist in project budgeting and cost control activities.
• Monitor resource utilization and highlight shortages or excesses to management.

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to management and client.
• Maintain project dashboards, progress charts, and S-curves.
• Support management in preparing project status presentations and review documents.
• Assist in delay analysis, extension of time (EOT) claims, and project forecasts.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with various departments (Design, Procurement, Site Execution, QA/QC, Safety) to ensure alignment with project plans.
• Attend project review meetings with clients and management.
• Ensure timely communication of schedule updates, risks, and action plans.

6. Risk & Performance Management

• Identify potential project risks and schedule impacts.
• Develop mitigation plans and monitor implementation.
• Support continuous improvement in planning and project control processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
