Job Title: Planning Engineer

Location: Jamnagar – Gujarat, Mundra

Planning Engineer with substantial experience in planning and scheduling activities for large-scale industrial projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Fertilizer sectors. Responsible for the preparation, control, and monitoring of project schedules, performance analysis, and reporting, with hands-on experience in handling piping and structural disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor piping and structural fabrication/erection progress

Track and report fabrication and erection volumes:

Total Inch Dia / Inch Meter (Piping)

Structural Metric Tonne (Structure)

Create and maintain Project Liquidation Plans, Daily Progress Reports (DPR), and Daily Manpower Reports (DMR).

Generate and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements at the project level.

Prepare S-curves, histograms, earned value (EVM), and other analytical tools to assess project health.

Coordinate across engineering, procurement, and execution teams to ensure milestone adherence.

Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) for delays and claim support.

Attend progress review meetings with clients and stakeholders; present planning updates and forecasts.

Ensure integration of schedule with resource and cost plans for accurate control.

Track subcontractor performance and compliance with planned schedules.

Preferred Skills:

Good understanding of fabrication, erection, and site execution methods.

Hands-on experience in working with EPC contractors or direct client environments.

Strong reporting, analytical, and forecasting capabilities

Knowledge of contractual terms, claim analysis, and risk management.

Ability to work in both office and site locations across projects.

Qualification:

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, DME (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering)

Experience

Minimum 3 to 10 years relevant experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
