Placement Officer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Placement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in academic placements, building and maintaining strong industry connections, and guiding students toward successful career opportunities. This role requires excellent coordination, communication, and relationship management skills to bridge the gap between academia and industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporates, industries, and recruitment partners for student placements.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate campus placement drives, recruitment events, and career fairs.
• Collaborate with academic departments to understand student profiles and align placement activities accordingly.
• Guide and mentor students on career preparation, resume building, interview skills, and industry expectations.
• Maintain and update placement records, employer databases, and student progress reports.
• Identify emerging job trends and industries to expand placement opportunities.
• Coordinate pre-placement talks, internship opportunities, and industry interactions.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between students, faculty, and corporate partners.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors degree in any discipline; Masters degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in academic placements is mandatory.
• Proven track record of establishing industry linkages and achieving placement targets.
• Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
