Job Description Job Title: Coordinator - Placement cum Mobilization Department: Training & Placement Location: Hyderabad Reports To: Center Manager / Project Head Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The Placement and Mobilization Coordinator is responsible for mobilizing potential candidates from target communities and ensuring successful employment placement of trained students across all skill training programs of the organization. The role bridges the gap between training and employment by coordinating with employers, preparing students for interviews, organizing placement events, and supporting them through the career journey. Key Responsibilities Mobilization & Community Engagement Identify and engage youth from schools, colleges, and community groups. Organize awareness sessions, job meal's, mobilization drives, and outreach events. Counsel candidates and their families on available skill training and job opportunities. Develop and implement mobilization strategies to recruit program beneficiaries. Collaborate with community leaders, local NGOs, volunteers, and field workers. Ensure timely enrollment and continuous engagement of participants. Document mobilization efforts and maintain detailed daily reports. Placement Coordination Ensure placement targets are met for skill training centers across India. Identify and onboard HR representatives from companies, MNCs, and institutions. Maintain strong employer relationships and build a pipeline of hiring partners. Create and share Job Descriptions (JDs) with stakeholders and bridge communication gaps. Collect and shortlist student profiles for placement opportunities. Schedule and facilitate interviews (online or in-person) and coordinate logistics. Provide feedback to students and trainers for interview performance improvement. Track student placements, joining status, offer letters, and post-placement support. Student Preparation & Career Support Conduct career guidance sessions, mock interviews, and skill-readiness workshops. Support resume building and profile alignment with industry expectations. Participate in student assessments with trainers to evaluate job readiness. Guide students through the entire career cycle from interview to onboarding. Share industry trends and insights to align training and placement goals. Corporate Relations & Industry Engagement Build and manage corporate partnerships for student placements. Arrange industry visits, guest lectures, on-the-job training, and seminars. Sign MOUs with employers and maintain required documentation. Organize strategic events such as panel discussions, conclaves, workshops, etc. Share eligible candidate databases with employers based on recruitment criteria. Stay updated with schemes like NAPS and align placements with government programs. Team & Operations Management Lead and guide reporting team members involved in mobilization and placements. Plan placement activities, monitor execution, and maintain placement MIS. Ensure activities stay within budget and resources are efficiently managed. Follow organizational instructions and contribute towards overall growth. Desired Competencies Strong coordination, planning, and time management skills. Team leadership and target-driven operational management. Relationship-building with stakeholders, employers, and communities. Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and basic MIS management. Solution-oriented approach with willingness to travel as per need. Strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills. Good knowledge of government skill schemes (e.g., NAPS). Qualifications & Experience Graduation in any discipline (preferred: Social Work, Education, HR, Management). 2 - 4 years of experience in mobilization, placement, or community engagement. Proficiency in MS Office, email communication.
