Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Piping Engineer to join our Proposals team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing tender documentation, estimating costs, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to develop competitive and technically sound proposals for piping systems in water and wastewater treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review tender documents, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project specifications.
Conduct proposal costing and estimation for piping systems, including material take-offs and BOQ preparation.
Develop technical and commercial bids with accuracy and attention to detail.
Analyze contract terms and identify potential risks, providing mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to gather inputs and ensure proposal completeness.
Liaise with clients and consultants for clarifications and technical discussions.
Benchmark market rates and competitor offerings to ensure competitive pricing.
Maintain documentation and records for all proposal activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5 6 years of experience in piping proposals and estimation.
Strong understanding of piping materials, specifications, and layout drawings.
Familiarity with codes and standards such as ASME, ANSI, and IS.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and proposal management tools.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in water infrastructure or EPC projects.
Exposure to international standards and proposal practices.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
