Were looking for a DevSecOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS cloud infrastructure and a passion for embedding security throughout the development lifecycle. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of development, operations, and security to design and implement scalable, secure, and automated solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud environments meet the highest security standards while supporting innovation and agility. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain automated security solutions for AWS environments. Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines to embed security throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to design and implement secure cloud architectures on AWS. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and threat modeling for cloud applications and infrastructure. Apply security best practices across AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudTrail, and more. Automate and manage security patching, configuration management, and incident response for AWS-based services. Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using AWS-native tools and third-party solutions. Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure secure deployments. Spearhead ongoing improvements to cloud security standards and automate compliance reporting within AWS environments. Advise on regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2), and support implementation of necessary controls. Stay informed about emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and AWS developments to ensure proactive mitigation. Conduct regular audits of cloud infrastructure to identify and resolve security risks. Technical Skills Minimum of 10 years of experience in a DevSecOps or similar role focused on AWS infrastructure. In-depth knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch). Hands-on experience with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, OWASP, and AWS-native security tools. Understanding of container security, CI/CD pipeline protection, and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices. Experience with automation and orchestration tools like AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, and other third-party tools. Strong grasp of DevOps methodologies, continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD) processes. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go for automation purposes. Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including physical devices, virtual resources, middleware, networking, and storage. Experience with Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS for container orchestration. Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) policies and AWS security best practices. Exposure to infrastructure monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Splunk. Familiarity with cloud-native application architectures and microservices security. Knowledge of cloud security compliance standards including GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO27001. Experience working with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, ISO 20000) is a plus. Qualifications & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Security Specialty). Certifications or experience with ITIL or ISO 20000 frameworks are advantageous.

The successful candidate will ensurecompliance with UK legal standards, data protection laws, and other relevantregulations. Key responsibilities include conducting legal compliance checks,managing Tier 2 compliance, reviewing contracts, and handling data protectionfor UK-based operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Protection Compliance: - Ensure compliance with UK data protectionlaws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). - Implement policies for handling, storing,and sharing data in line with UK regulations. - Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments(DPIAs) and advise on risks related to personal data processing. - Liaise with UK authorities on dataprotection and ensure that all privacy notices and policies comply with UKlaws. 7. Risk Management: - Identify legal risks specific to UKoperations and provide advice on mitigating potential issues. - Offer legal advice on regulatorycompliance, data protection, and contract matters. 8. Regulatory Updates: - Monitor changes in UK legal frameworks anddata protection regulations to ensure that Scrumconnect UK is fully compliant. - Advise senior management on necessary legalactions or updates based on UK regulations. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) orequivalent, with a focus on UK law. - Minimum 2-4 years of experience in legalcompliance, preferably working in IT or consulting services for the UK market. - Strong knowledge of UK ISO standards, BCorp requirements, contract law, and GDPR. - Experience with Tier 2 compliance is aplus. - Excellent organizational skills andattention to detail. - Strong communication skills to work withUK-based teams and stakeholders. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of UK legal frameworks related todata protection and compliance. - Familiarity with UK corporate governance,risk management, and compliance processes. - Proven ability to handle multiple projectsand meet deadlines.
