PHP Web Developer

Skill Set Required:- A PHP developer is responsible for writing server-side web application logic. PHP developers will develop back-end components, connect the application with the other web services, and support the front-end developers by integrating their work with the application. They are also often required to develop and integrate plugins for certain popular frameworks.

Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Server-Side Logic: Develop and maintain the backend logic for web applications, handling data processing, user authentication, and interactions with databases.
• Code Development: Write, test, and maintain PHP code, ensuring it is efficient, scalable, and adheres to coding standards.
• Database Management: Design and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient retrieval.
• API Integration: Develop and integrate with other web services and APIs to enable data exchange and functionality.
• Frontend Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of backend logic with the user interface.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize code for performance, ensuring fast response times and efficient resource utilization.
• Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect web applications from vulnerabilities and threats.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for code and applications, including usage guidelines and API references.
• Project Management: Collaborate with other developers and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve issues in PHP code and web applications.
• Staying Updated: Keep up with the latest PHP trends, frameworks, and best practices.

PHP Developer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master degree in computer science or a similar field.
• Knowledge of PHP web frameworks including Yii, Laravel, and CodeIgniter.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
• Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
• Previous experience creating scalable applications.
• Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Ability to project manage.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
