Role Description

Area Sales Manager

  • Team Leadership:

    Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of

    5 Medical Representatives

    to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strategy Execution:

    Implement our

    'Journey-to-Buyer' (JTB)

    strategies to effectively penetrate the market, drive product adoption, and maximize prescription generation across key therapeutic areas.
  • Target Achievement:

    Responsible for the overall sales performance, market share growth, and effective resource management for the Jaipur area.
  • Market Analysis:

    Conduct regular market analysis, competitor mapping, and provide accurate sales forecasts to the management team.
  • Doctor Engagement:

    Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and prescribing doctors in the Cardiology, Nephrology, and GP/CP segments.
  • Compliance:

    Ensure all field activities adhere to company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory standards.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    Must possess a

    B. Pharma

    or

    B.Sc

    degree from a recognized institution.
  • Experience:

    3 to 5 years

    of progressive experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role (e.g., Senior Medical Representative, or current Area Sales Manager).
  • Therapeutic Knowledge:

    Prior experience or strong knowledge in selling products within the

    Cardiology

    and

    Nephrology

    segments is highly preferred.
  • Skills:

    Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Must be a self-starter and a strategic thinker.
