Performance Tester with SAP HANA Required Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years of proven hands-on experience in performance engineering, with specific exposure to SAP systems. • Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications. • Experience working on S/4 HANA Brownfield implementations. • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, and C++. • Expertise in performance testing tools, including LoadRunner, SoapUI, Postman and Neoload • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, visualization, end-to-end performance evaluation, and root cause analysis. • In-depth knowledge of performance-tuning SQL queries. • Proficient in using application performance monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics. • Skilled in using various profiling tools to efficiently identify performance bottlenecks. • Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques. Roles/Responsibilities o Perform performance testing on SAP applications, analyzing the results to drive improvements. o Contribute to the successful implementation of S/4 HANA, focusing on performance aspects of the system. o Write and maintain scripts and tools using one or more programming languages to aid in performance analysis. o Tune databases and optimize SQL queries to ensure high performance in production and testing environments. o Understand and analyze performance requirements from stakeholders. o Identify critical business scenarios and performance benchmarks. o Select appropriate performance testing tools ( LoadRunner, Neoload) o Design test scripts for load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing. o Develop and maintain reusable and modular test scripts. o Coordinate with DevOps/IT to prepare the performance testing environment. o Ensure system configurations and monitoring tools are in place. o Execute performance test scenarios based on the test plan. o Monitor system behavior (CPU, memory, disk I/O, network, DB performance) during execution o Analyze test results to identify performance issues and system bottlenecks. o Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and architects for performance tuning. o Create detailed performance test reports with findings, insights, and recommendations. o Present results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. o Work closely with development teams, DevOps, and business analysts. o Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and planning sessions. o Advocate for performance best practices across the team. o Suggest and implement improvements for performance and scalability. o Stay updated with the latest tools, trends, and best practices in performance testing.
