ob Title: Performance Tester IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System)
Role Summary:
Responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance and load tests for IVRS applications to ensure optimal system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze IVRS architecture, call flow, and integration with backend systems.
Design and develop performance test scripts for IVR call scenarios using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, or Hammer CallMaster.
Execute load, stress, endurance, and spike tests to assess IVR response time and call-handling capacity.
Identify performance bottlenecks across telephony, middleware, and backend components.
Work with developers, voice engineers, and QA teams to optimize call routing and speech recognition performance.
Generate detailed performance reports and recommend tuning solutions.
Monitor system metrics (CPU, memory, call setup time, voice latency, network bandwidth).
Support pre-production validation and performance baselining.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of IVR technologies (Avaya, Genesys, Cisco CVP, or Twilio).
Expertise in performance testing tools (LoadRunner with SIP/VoIP protocols, JMeter, Hammer).
Understanding of telephony protocols (SIP, RTP, CTI, SS7).
Familiarity with call simulators and IVR load testing frameworks.
Experience with monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana).
Good scripting skills (Java, Python, or Shell).
