Job Description

Performance & Chaos Engineering Specialist / Resilience Engineer Chaos Engineering & Performance Testing

Design and implement controlled failure scenarios (eg, instance termination, network latency, resource exhaustion)
Integrate chaos experiments into CI/CD pipelines for continuous resilience validation
Develop and execute end-to-end performance testing strategies
Collect non-functional requirements, create workload models, and prepare test frameworks
Utilize APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, New Relic) for system health monitoring
Define and track SLI/SLO metrics to measure resilience outcomes
Work with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Neoload, and chaos platforms (Harness, Gremlin)
Build custom scripts and automation for complex test scenarios
Document experiment outcomes, provide actionable insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders
Establish periodic chaos testing schedules and maintain compliance with security standards

Skills needed:

Strong understanding of Chaos Engineering principles and fault-injection techniques
Expertise in performance testing tools (JMeter mandatory; LoadRunner/Neoload good to have)
Hands on experience with Simmy as fault injection tool and Polly to apply resilience policies
Hands-on experience with APM tools (Dynatrace mandatory)
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Shell) and automation frameworks
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
