Greetings from Searce! Position - Sr Cloud Reliability Engineer (SRE) | GCP Cloud Location - Mumbai/Pune Experience - 5+ years Overview about the role. As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in the Cloud Managed Services team at Searce, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure. You'll be at the forefront of managing and optimizing cloud services to deliver high-quality and resilient solutions. Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Cloud Reliability teams to provide strong Managed Services support to end-customers. Isolate, troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by CMS clients in their cloud environment. Drive the communication with the customer providing details about the issue, current steps, next plan of action, ETA. Gather client's requirements related to use of specific cloud services and provide assistance in setting them up and resolving issues. Create SOPs and knowledge articles for use by the L1 teams to resolve common issues. Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis and propose/implement preventive actions. Follow change management procedure to identify, record and implement changes. Plan and deploy OS, security patches in Windows/Linux environment and upgrade k8s clusters. Identify the recurring manual activities and contribute to automation. Provide technical guidance and educate team members on development and operations. Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve. System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains. Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services. Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards. Ensuring critical system security through using best-in-class cloud security solutions. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a similar role Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong organizational and communication skills Strong ability to multitask Comfort working with multiple groups within business Why Searce? Job Description for Reliability Engineer (Electrical) Description Seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our innovative team working on cutting-edge MALE class of UAV systems. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform life testing, environmental testing of critical electrical/electronic systems & sub-systems; and perform statistical reliability modelling. Responsibilities Perform life testing to assess the reliability of electrical or electronics components, focusing on variable environmental factors. Conduct accelerated life tests of electrical or electronics components and analyse the generated lifetime data. Ensure testing procedures and practices comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Utilize statistical methods to analyze results to identify failure modes and recommend design improvements. Use software packages like ReliaSoft, Minitab, PTC Windchill to conduct reliability analysis, including life data analysis, Weibull analysis, and reliability modelling. Collaborate with system integration teams to resolve reliability issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field. 2+ years of industry experience in the relevant field is desirable. Proficiency in reliability analysis software such as ReliaSoft Weibull++, Minitab, PTC Windchill. Well versed with MS office suit for using word, excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of MIL_STD_417 and JSS-55555 is desirable. Solid understanding of statistical methods and survivability testing. Note: There will be a F2F Interview on 21st June 2025 at Bangalore.
