Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Performance Tester

who can evaluate, analyze, and enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of modern web applications. The role involves designing and executing performance test scenarios, identifying bottlenecks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless user experiences across varying loads.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests for web applications.
Define performance benchmarks and ensure applications align with SLAs.
Utilize tools like JMeter (or similar) for execution, monitoring, and reporting.
Monitor system metrics (CPU, memory, database, network latency, etc.) during test runs.
Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across code, server, and infrastructure layers.
Prepare detailed test plans, scripts, execution logs, and reports.
Conduct root cause analysis for performance issues and recommend optimizations.
Work closely with QA, Development, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to ensure end-to-end performance readiness.
Integrate performance testing processes within CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on expertise in JMeter (minimum 3 years).
Proven experience in performance testing concepts and tools.
Good understanding of throughput, latency, concurrency, and scalability.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Nice to Have

Exposure to cloud-based performance testing environments.
Experience in scripting and automation integration for performance pipelines.
