  • We have an immediate opening for a strategically minded performance marketing expert to build and establish our Performance Marketing Center of Excellence in India. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this role will be a great fit for someone who is passionate about diving deep into data and emerging with actionable insights to drive the success of our rapidly growing business through exponential ROI.
  • In partnership with our global marketing teams, youll be responsible for the setup, execution, optimization, tracking, reporting, and analysis of our clients digital marketing initiatives across e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, and Wayfair, among others.
  • All applicants interested in applying for this opportunity are required to have hands-on experience in Amazon and/or Walmart advertising, strong foundations and knowledge of paid media advertising, and fluency in English. A track record of leading a team of performance marketers in engineering the optimum return on spend across paid media channels is a plus. Initially, our Performance Marketing team will support the U.S. market and gradually extend its efforts to other global markets as the team continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • See. Adapt. React. This is our mantra for marketplace PPC advertising. Be nimble and agile by adapting our investment for quick results.
  • Build a team that shares our passion, vision, and enthusiasm and delivers strong, efficient marketplace advertising performance.
  • Work closely with global growth marketing leads to maximize performance marketing efforts by leveraging data analytics and insights to deliver results for all e-commerce accounts.
  • Continually test and optimize marketing investment levels balancing effectiveness with efficiency to align with business goals.
  • Track and report on daily weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance for all channels including audience and targeting insights and spend shift recommendations by identifying opportunities for improvement to facilitate conversion and action.
  • Drive continuous improvement through critical evaluation of existing strategies and implementation of new and creative ideas.
  • Build exceptional relationships with Growth Marketing and Merchant teams to help deliver results.
  • Become our in-house subject matter expert on all performance marketing questions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Prior work experience with Amazon or Walmarts advertising team is required.
  • Bachelors degree (required), in marketing and data engineering, data analysis, or other applicable areas of study
  • Experienced in developing implementing PPC strategies in an agency, corporate, or public sector.
  • Deep experience running digital campaigns, tracking and optimizing for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated success in leading fast-paced performance marketing teams is a plus
  • Working knowledge of SKAI platform is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to make decisions using data and analytical results.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Innovative and creative thinker; proactively identifies opportunities; motivated by challenge, change, and opportunity to help an organization look at things differently.
  • Relationship builder: partners cross-functionally and works effectively with various levels of the organization; team player with the presence to inspire and coalesce varying points of view.

This role will be based in Bengaluru, India. It is on-site. The hours of operation will be such that the team is available to overlap for at least part of the day with U.S. team members.
