Job Responsibilities:

As a Voyage Planner & Vessel Performance Analyst at Blue Water Trade Winds, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of our voyage optimization and vessel data monitoring teams. Your primary focus will be to ensure compliance with all operational procedures, processes, and policies. Your key responsibilities will include: -

• Vessel Monitoring: Oversee the smooth execution of marine voyages, analysing ship-reported data, identifying, and resolving discrepancies with the help of AI-assisted tools.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and safety requirements.
• Identify potential or recurring problems, assess risks, and take appropriate action to mitigate them.Maintain accurate documentation and records for compliance purposes.
• Process Improvement: Continuously analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Explore opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize workflows.

• Mentoring and Training: Provide guidance, support, and training to other employees in the marine operations team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyse, and interpret operational data to generate meaningful insights. Prepare reports to communicate findings and make informed decisions.Preferred Requirements/Skills:

Master's/Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline (mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering)

• Excellent numerical abilities with basic knowledge of mathematical principles
• Aptitude and passion for data analysis, an eye for the details
• Work efficiently in an innovative and fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, with demonstrated ability to follow instructions diligently.
