Role Overview:

• The Senior Executive Payroll & Compliance will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for multiple entities in India.
• The role involves managing statutory compliance, payroll accounting, reconciliations, audits, and coordination with internal stakeholders and statutory bodies.
• The individual will work closely with the finance team to ensure end-to-end accuracy and governance in all payroll and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

• Process monthly payroll for all four entities within defined timelines and with 100% accuracy.
• Validate payroll inputs (new joiners, exits, bonuses, LOP, attendance, variable pay,etc.).
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and relevant departments for payroll inputs and approvals.
• Prepare and verify payroll reports for management review.
• Ensure timely release of payslips and address employee payroll queries within SLA. Compliance & Statutory Management:
• Ensure timely remittance and filing for PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain registers, challans, and returns as per statutory norms.
• Handle periodic internal and external audits, providing accurate documentation and reconciliations.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting payroll and compliance processes. Accounting & Reconciliation:
• Post payroll-related accounting entries and perform monthly payroll reconciliations.
• MIS preparations
• Pass payroll and compliance entry in tally
• Track and reconcile payroll liability accounts monthly.
