Job Description

Payroll Associate


Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll cycles (monthly, bi-weekly, and off-cycle), ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, taxes, overtime, and benefits.
  • Verify and reconcile payroll data (timesheets, attendance, variable pay), identifying and resolving discrepancies before finalizing payroll
  • Maintain confidential and up-to-date payroll records and documentation
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, benefits, and provide timely resolutions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, regulations, and tax filings
  • Collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams to manage onboarding/offboarding payroll processes and data alignment
  • Generate regular payroll reports and assist in year-end processing and audits
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws and best practices to recommend improvements
