Payroll Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage

  end-to-end payroll processing

  for multiple client accounts.
• Ensure

  accuracy in salary processing, deductions, reimbursements, and benefits

  as per client policies.
• Handle

  statutory compliances

  such as PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, Gratuity, etc., and ensure timely filing.
• Maintain and update

  client payroll MIS, reports, and reconciliation statements

  .
• Coordinate with clients for

  data inputs, validations, and query resolution

  .
• Supervise and guide the payroll team to ensure smooth operations.
  
• Stay updated on

  changes in labor laws and tax regulations

  impacting client payrolls.
• Support

  internal audits and compliance checks

  .
• Manage

  client onboarding for payroll services

  and ensure process standardization.
• Work closely with internal teams (HR, Accounts, IT) for system and process improvements.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, HR, or related field.
  

• 4–8 years of experience

  in payroll processing, preferably in a

  payroll outsourcing or service firm

  .
• Strong understanding of

  Indian payroll laws, taxation, and statutory compliances

  .
• Proficiency in

  MS Excel

  and payroll software (GreytHR, ADP, SAP, etc.).
• Excellent

  client communication and stakeholder management

  skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
