The strength of our company lives in the intersection of our people, our customers and our brands.The Payment Processing Analyst II is responsible for supporting the daily operations of payment processing across multiple channels. This role ensures accurate and timely execution of transactions, investigates and resolves payment issues, and contributes to process improvements and compliance initiatives. The Analyst II works cross-functionally with internal teams to maintain operational excellence and support business objectives.
What You'll Do & How You'll Make Your Mark.
- Creates strategic plans for Payment Processing for Newfold. This includes investigating and making recommendations to Executives for future vendors and products.
- Handles escalations to vendors. When vendors do not perform and miss SLAs, responsible for escalating issues to vendor executives for resolution.
- Responsible for monitoring compliance across financial systems and then developing a plan and driving plans to address any out of compliance issues.
- Identify and drive teams to resolve discrepancies within the financial systems, this includes failure rates and fraud rates that exceed thresholds.
- Investigate and resolve payment exceptions, failures, and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Customer Support teams to troubleshoot and resolve payment-related issues.
- Analyze payment data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.
 
Who You Are & What You'll Need To Succeed.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in payment processing, financial operations, or banking.
- Familiarity with payment systems and networks (e.g., WorldPay, NACHA, PayPal, PayU, Visa/MC, RTP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; experience with SQL or BI tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP or payment platforms (e.g., Oracle, WorldPay, WorkDay, Stripe, Fiserv).
- Knowledge of payment compliance standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification.
