Pastry Head Chef

About the Role-We are looking for a creative and experienced Pastry Head Chef to lead our bakery & pastry section. You will be responsible for menu creation, recipe development, production management, quality control, inventory handling, and training the pastry team. Key Responsibilities-Lead and manage the pastry & bakery kitchen operations. Develop new, innovative dessert and bakery items aligned with brand standards. Maintain high-quality taste, texture, presentation, and consistency in all products. Oversee daily production schedules to ensure timely supply for outlets/counters. Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and compliance with FSSAI and internal standards. Train and mentor pastry team members including CDPs, Commis, Helpers. Manage ordering of raw materials and control food cost, wastage, and inventory levels. Work closely with management for menu planning, seasonal offerings, and promotions. Conduct regular tasting sessions and maintain recipe documentation. Requirements6+ years of experience in Pastry & Bakery, including at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of cakes, desserts, breads, viennoiserie, and premium pastry techniques. Ability to design menus and develop signature products. Good leadership, time management, and communication skills. Experience in café, bakery, hotel, patisserie, or premium restaurant setups preferred.
