Pastry Chef

Bonntonn is a premium bakery and gourmet gifting brand known for innovation, design-led desserts, and luxurious gifting experiences. We are expanding rapidly and seeking a driven and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Head Chef who can lead a team, develop innovative recipes, streamline kitchen operations, and ensure high-quality dispatch of goods across multiple verticals (retail, online, dark stores, and bulk gifting).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day operations of the bakery kitchen with a strong focus on quality and hygiene.
• Develop and test new products aligned with market trends and seasonal launches.
• Build and maintain SOPs for baking, packaging, and dispatch processes.
• Manage kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth coordination for timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with the founder and creative team for product innovation and menu curation.
• Implement inventory control systems and ensure zero wastage.
• Train and upskill junior chefs and interns regularly.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in bakery/patisserie kitchen (team leadership required).
• Strong understanding of bakery techniques, recipe development, and food costing.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle high-pressure environments.
• Knowledge of cloud kitchen operations and multi-channel dispatch is a plus.
• Creative, passionate, and solution-oriented.

Salary: Competitive, based on experience
