Parts Manager

Roles and Responsibilities : Parts Manager - JCB CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

1. Inventory Management

• Maintain optimal stock levels of parts and accessories.
• Monitor inventory turnover, reduce obsolescence and shrinkage.
• Use inventory management software to track and reorder parts.

2. Procurement and Vendor Relations

• Source parts from reliable suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and warranties.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers.

3. Sales and Customer Service

• Assist service technicians or customers in identifying the correct parts.
• Ensure timely availability of parts to meet service schedules.
• Handle parts counter sales and support retail or wholesale clients.

4. Staff Supervision and Training

• Supervise parts department staff (e.g., parts clerks, inventory specialists).
• Train employees on systems, procedures, and customer service.
• Set performance goals and conduct performance evaluations.

5. Cost Control and Budgeting

• Monitor department budget and expenses.
• Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising availability.
• Analyze financial data to improve efficiency and profitability.

6. Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company regulations.
• Prepare reports for upper management regarding stock status and performance.

7. Technology and System Usage

• Operate inventory and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
• Leverage data analytics to forecast demand and optimize stock.

Education: Min Graduation

Experience : Min. 8-10 years of Experience as a PARTS MANAGER in Commercial or construction Equipment

Salary - 40000-60000 per month
