HAWK HOSPITALITY Job Title: Maintenance Worker Department: Facilities / Engineering Location: Munnar Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Facility Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to perform general maintenance and repair tasks across the facility. The ideal candidate will have hands- on experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems and a commitment to keeping the premises in top condition. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance issues. Carry out general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC system maintenance. Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas, tools, and equipment. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Assist in the installation and relocation of equipment and furniture. Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements when necessary. Collaborate with external contractors when specialized maintenance is required. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities. Qualifications: Proven experience as a maintenance worker or in a similar role. knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Good physical condition and strength to handle manual tasks. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Technical or vocational training in maintenance is a plus. Skills Required: Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Time management and organization Attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team Strong communication skills Work Conditions: May involve working in indoor and outdoor environments May require standing, bending, and lifting heavy items for extended periods May require working on weekends or after hours for urgent repairs Language: English, Hindi, Malayalam Experience: Minimum 2 years.
