Job Title: Packaging Executive Department: Manufacturing / Operations Reports to: Packaging Manager / Plant Head Experience Required: 2–5 years (preferably in lubricants or chemical industry) Qualification: B. Sc. Chemistry Job Summary: The Packaging Executive is responsible for overseeing daily packaging operations of lubricants to ensure timely, safe, and efficient execution in compliance with quality standards and regulatory norms. This role involves coordinating with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth packaging line operation. Key Responsibilities: Packaging Operations: Supervise and manage day-to-day packaging activities for lubricants (oil cans, drums, barrels, etc.). Ensure correct filling, labeling, sealing, and batch coding as per SOPs. Optimize line performance and minimize downtime. Quality Compliance: Ensure packaging quality meets company and statutory standards. Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) for online sampling and testing. Identify and report packaging defects or deviations. Inventory and Material Handling: Monitor packaging material consumption and stock levels (containers, caps, labels, etc.). Raise requisitions and ensure timely availability of packaging materials. Team Management: Supervise packaging operators and contract labor. Ensure proper training and adherence to safety protocols. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain daily packaging logs, batch records, and incident reports. Ensure traceability of packed products through accurate documentation. HSE & Compliance: Ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental guidelines. Participate in safety drills and audits as required. Key Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of packaging machines (filling, capping, labeling) Familiarity with ISO/GMP standards and EHS practices Good organizational and leadership skills Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Preferred Background: Prior experience in the lubricants, petrochemical industry Understanding of various packaging formats (plastic bottles, barrels, sachets, etc.) Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
