Job Overview

The Packaging cum Dispatch Head is responsible for overseeing complete end-to-end operations from product packing to final dispatch. This role ensures efficient and timely packing of products, maintains inventory accuracy, manages dispatch operations including scheduling and tracking of trucks and tankers, and ensures adherence to quality and safety standards. The position requires coordination with multiple teams including production, finance, sales, and operations to ensure seamless workflow from packing to delivery.

  • All Packing Should Be Done on Time → % Packing Not Done on Time

  • All Production Vouchers Should Be Entered on Time → % Production Vouchers Not Done on Time
  • All Tankers Should Be Loaded Properly → % Tankers Not Loaded Properly
  • All Packing Quality Complaints Should Be Resolved on Time → % Complaints Not Resolved on Time
  • All Trucks Should Be Dispatched Within 24 Hours → % Dispatches Not Done on Time
  • All Tankers Should Be Dispatched Within 24 Hours → % Dispatches Not Done on Time
  • All Invoices Should Be Matched → Count of Total Invoices / Oil Invoices

Protocols

  • Review packing requirements daily and ensure hygienic packing area.
  • Conduct hourly checks on packing quality.
  • Start packing machines on time and align workers/contractors accordingly.
  • Ensure sufficient stock of packing materials and finished goods.
  • Manage preventive maintenance inventory.
  • Verify dispatch documents with authorized personnel.
  • Dispatch tankers as per schedule and maintain proper records.
  • Follow up with accounts/finance for overdue payments.
  • Maintain tanker sheet and accurate dispatch documentation.

Role Tasks

1. Stock Management & Inventory Control

  • Daily check of finished goods & packing material stock.
  • Regular physical stock verification with Tally.
  • Maintain FIFO for stock handling.
  • Identify old/held stock and ensure timely rotation.
  • Cross-verify stock entries with actual inventory.

2. Production Planning & Reporting

  • Review daily packing plan from production sheet.
  • Ensure filling reports are updated.
  • Monitor dashboard daily for accuracy.
  • Maintain tanker sheet and submit reports.

3. Operational Management

  • Start and clean machines on time.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the packing area.
  • Ensure proper label placement and packing material arrangement.
  • Coordinate with fleet for tanker dispatch as per plan.

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Verify tin weights and vehicle loading accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with production/logistics for smooth operations.

5. Invoice Management & Documentation

  • Verify invoices, signatures, and dispatch accuracy.
  • Match invoices with product dispatch and transport documents.
  • Ensure bills align with dispatch records.

6. Payment & Financial Coordination

  • Track overdue payments for trucks/tankers.
  • Coordinate with accounts for timely collection.
  • Maintain updated payment status records.

7. Transportation & Logistics Planning

  • Schedule dispatches as per plan.
  • Assign tanker numbers and bargain numbers for tracking.
  • Optimize tanker routes and schedules.
  • Verify TPT bilty documentation and compliance.

Skills Required

  • Strong organizational & time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Tally, dispatch systems & MS Excel
  • Ability to handle packaging machinery operations
  • Experience managing dispatch of 300–400 tons daily, 30–40 trucks
  • Excellent coordination & communication skills
  • Problem-solving under pressure

  • Tanker planning & compliance regulations
  • Packing formats (pouches, bottles, tins, boxes, etc.)

Sector Preference: Candidates from Liquid FMCG or Oil industry will be preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
