Job Title: Outreach Manager Position Type: Fulltime Reporting to: Director, Centre of Excellence About the Centre: The Centre of excellence for Public Policy and ESG is committed to promote rigorous, systematic, evidenced based scientific research in three distinct, dynamic, yet nascent domains of policy making: ESG, sustainability and public policy. The Centre seeks to focus on new and emerging areas of policy making, drawing expertise from various stakeholders to include academia, corporates, policy think tanks and civil society organizations. The Centre of Excellence in Public Policy, Sustainability, and ESG Research at Alliance University is a pioneering academic and research hub focused on driving impactful policy reforms, sustainability initiatives, and ESG centric solutions. We collaborate with national and international institutions, government agencies, and think tanks to influence progressive change through evidence-based research and advocacy. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Outreach Manager to spearhead our Centre's strategic engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the visibility of the Centre’s research output, fostering collaborations with policymakers, Think Tanks, government departments, and academic institutions, and facilitating outreach for admissions into academic programs associated with the Centre. The Outreach Manager will act as a bridge between academia, government, and the public by translating research into action and creating opportunities for thought leadership and collaborative partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute outreach strategies to disseminate policy papers among government officers and think tanks. Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and industry think tanks. Organize seminars, webinars, and workshops to showcase research outcomes and policy recommendations. Coordinate and manage digital communications, including social media campaigns and newsletter publications on ESG and sustainability topics. Monitor policy trends and ESG developments to ensure the Centre’s initiatives are timely and impactful. Report on outreach activities and measure their success using defined Key Performance Indicators. Required Qualifications: Advanced degree in Public Policy, Sustainability, ESG, or related fields. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in public policy outreach, government relations, or regulatory affairs. Proven expertise in admissions outreach and policy communication strategies. Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills. Demonstrable understanding of sustainability and ESG frameworks. Desirable Attributes: Previous experience in academic outreach or admissions is a plus. Familiarity with policy processes and government systems in India. Exposure to working in a university/research environment. Remuneration: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
