An Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for lead generation to the Zeller Sales team. By contacting a pre-defined business list of target customers, pre-qualifying their needs, you will then be responsible for inputting this data into Hubspot (Sales Hub) CRM, and scheduling a meeting with a Zeller Sales Account Executive.You will need to be inquisitive, friendly, personable, persistent, and able to think fast on your feet to quickly engage a prospect, identify their needs / fit for Zeller, and motivate them to schedule a meeting with a sales team member.As an outbound BDR, you are the first person to speak with a potential Zeller merchant through outbound cold-calling. You'll conduct a brief discovery of their business —understanding their current payment terminal setup, point-of-sale requirements, and motivations / interest in taking the next step in the Zeller sales journey.This is not a closing role — you are only required to pre-qualify and book a meeting. A general understanding of the Zeller product suite will be essential to handle objections and identify suitability. This is an entry-level sales position, ideal for a previous customer support / technical customer support specialist.
