Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Financials Techno-Functional Consultant with 5–7 years of Oracle EBS implementation experience and strong expertise in Oracle Financials Cloud. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of financial modules, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with business users to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in Oracle EBS and Oracle Financials Cloud implementations, enhancements, and support projects.
  • Work extensively on core financial modules including PO, AP, AR, GL, FA, and CM.
  • Perform fit/gap analysis to assess business processes and design solutions to meet specific goals.
  • Create and maintain requirements documentation, requirements traceability, test scenarios, and validation of test results.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with business users to scope, document, and prioritize functional requirements.
  • Support production migration, Go-live activities, and provide post-Go-live support.
  • Develop, modify, and maintain standard and custom reports (Statutory, Management, Reconciliation, and ad hoc).
  • Provide requirements for third-party application integrations with Oracle General Ledger.
  • Debug and troubleshoot system issues; clearly explain solutions to end-users.
  • Coordinate regularly with Client IT Managers and the Oracle Financials community.
  • Mentor team members and share best practices.
  • Provide status reporting, documentation, and ensure timely project updates.
  • Participate in integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Act as a stream lead, guiding the team with domain and technical expertise.
  • Work across different delivery models, including Agile application development, support, and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS implementations and support.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Financials Cloud and EBS functional processes.
  • Proven experience with PO, AP, AR, GL, FA, and CM modules.
  • Ability to debug system behaviors and provide clear explanations to users.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in report creation/modification for compliance and business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Ability to work independently and directly with end-users and stakeholders.
  • Oracle Finance certification preferred; Oracle Cloud Financials certifications are a strong plus.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work in various delivery landscapes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle EBS and Cloud Financials certifications.
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants.
  • Strong understanding of integration with third-party systems.
